Career: Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for preventive maintenance and emergency repairs for all production equipment. Applicants must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor and control the equipment maintenance in accordance with accepted maintenance practices and policies.

Support process and equipment projects and improvements within capital and expense programs, be technical resource in solving the issues.
|
Lead and support process improvement activities in maintenance and cross functional department teams as opportunities arise.
|
Ability to be on call and accessible to help repair, diagnose, and facilitate backup plans for maintenance related downtime.
|
Basic Duties:
Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tool and power tools.
|
Inspect drives, motor, and belts, check fluid levels, and other action items on maintenance checklists.
|
Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment.
|
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
|
Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment and equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions.
|
Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
|
Performs other daily duties as assigned.

Proficiency in MS Office software.

Troubleshooting skills.
|
Equipment/asset control and protection program skills.
|
In-depth understanding of maintenance processes on various manufacturing and facility support equipment to include preventive, predictive, and reliability maintenance programs.

Attention to details.
|
We are particularly interested in individuals with strong mechanical skills, industrial electrical skills, and welding/fabrication skills. Those with the ability to fabricate, repair and rebuild parts using welders, drills, and lathes are encouraged to apply. Applicants with PLC troubleshooting ability is a plus.
This position is eligible for benefits and the starting rate is $18.00-$24.00 an hour DOE.
