Quality Assurance Mission Statement

To monitor the processing of fresh fruits and vegetables, from field to fork, to ensure the finished product meets or exceeds customer expectations.

McEntire Produce has a long history dedicated to providing high quality produce to its customers. 

McEntire Produce Quality Team

We employ a Director of Quality Assurance to oversee Quality Assurance, Sanitation and Food Safety. The Department is managed by a Quality Assurance Manager/Microbiologist and our staff of fifteen highly trained quality assurance and HACCP technicians who monitor our food manufacturing methods.  The Quality Assurance department reviews all areas of our process from incoming raw material inspection to finished product assessment. 

As recommended by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, our company follows Good Manufacturing Practices and is HACCP certified. Our QA staff measures numerous critical control points in the facility on a daily basis. In addition, our raw material suppliers are leaders in the produce industry and strictly comply with recommended Good Agricultural Practices. Independent third-party companies inspect and audit our food safety and quality systems to verify that we are doing everything necessary to promote food safety. By routinely examining our processes and products, we can ensure that all customer specifications are met or exceeded. Through continuous improvement and innovation, McEntire Produce is able to deliver the safest and highest quality produce to our customers.
