McEntire Produce is operating in our 163,000 square-foot, state of the art food processing facility. The facility is located in Columbia, South Carolina in close proximity to I-77, I-26, I-95 and I-20. It was completed in September of 2006.
This facility gives us the ability to provide more efficient service and fresher, higher quality product to our customers.

McEntire Produce, Inc. Welcomes Craig Fugit as New Director of Retail Sales Craig Fugit has been hired to join McEntire Produce as our new Director of Retail Sales. Craig will joined the company on March 30, 2013, and brings tremendous experience, skill, knowledge, and customer relationships to help lead our company into other business channels for longer term profitable growth, specifically with focus on Retail Deli and Retail Produce segments of the supermarket industry. Craig has demonstrated proven leadership and performance with retail consumer goods companies and value added produce companies for the past 30+ years, most recently as the Carolinas Region Customer Manager for Chiquita/Fresh Express. Prior to joining Fresh Express in 1998, Craig held other key management positions with name brand companies such as Quaker Oats, Clorox, and Acosta Sales and Marketing. Craig will report to Mike Haygood and in addition to Craig’s focus on sales efforts within Retail Deli and Retail Produce, he will assist Mike Haygood and Carter McEntire in leading new product development and innovation initiatives. Craig is married and lives in Charlotte, NC. He and his wife Debbie have been married approaching 30 years, and they have 3 children and two grandchildren. We are excited to have Craig join us and help lead these growth efforts for McEntire Produce. |
